Last month we brought to you the news of a new and sexy home screen replacement app for android tablets, which was actually a kick starter project, Project Chameleon (details here).
The company Teknision Inc. behind project Chameleon was looking for a strong financial support of $50,000 to bring the app to the user market and guess what? It just crossed the $50,000 mark! And that was the good news, the bad news is, the funding has just been cancelled.
This is not because the project has been cancelled or anything like that, but because the fundings were connected to Amazon Payments account, and the employee who held the account left the company. Teknision has announced, since Amazon won?t allow the payments to transfer to any other account, they will soon start a new funding program and anyone who has pledged for Chameleon so far will not be charged.
To understand why you should support the project, jump here.
